For the 2012 Alzheimer International Day, I immersed myself for 8 days in a Alzheimer care centre with several patients. My purpose was to shoot black and white portraits for an exhibition in the Saint Denis media gallery for celebrating the event with all the local press invited. I wanted to show them more as an artist than as a witness. The black and white portrait treatment allowed me to highlight their inner light instead of a medical regard. However, I had to let my light equipment at home as I didn't want to afraid them and I used only a 50mm length to make sure I'd be among them. I had to make me accepted in the group. I have stories to tell with each of them.
